We agree and, along that line, one of the things we love most about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)—originated thousands of years ago among the Toltec, Aztec and other Nahua people—is its rootedness in not mourning but celebrating the dead... acknowledging life as a wondrous continuum.

We honor and glean from the rich offerings of our loved ones who were, recognizing that they still are.
